The Deines Center houses the wood engravings of E. Hubert Deines, as well as some fifty works by other artists. The Center also mounts monthly temporary exhibitions in a variety of media, including traveling exhibitions.

The Salina Art Center is a non-collecting contemporary art institution presenting exhibitions of art year-round, both traveling and original.

The permanent collection of the Gallery includes contemporary American ceramics; Art Nouveau glass and ceramics: glass paperweights; George Lopez carving from Cordova, New Mexico; 19th- and 20th-century Chinese decorative arts; prints; regional painting: and West African arts. The facility is currently under construction and the gallery is closed. It will reopen in January 2002.
