					<description><![CDATA[<p>Trail Highlights This hike follows the upper and lower grades of the rail line that once served the quarry site. Hiking south along the upper grade, you will pass the quarry sites, large sandstone blocks stacked like cordwood waiting for trains that will never come, and a section of horst. You will also find piles of smaller rocks along the trail. Too small for construction purposes, these were crushed to make cement or road-building material. Mosses, ferns, and liverworts grow on narrow ledges of the sandstone walls, moistened by water seeping from cracks in the rock. Small trees also grow </p>
