The trail to Oberg Mountain ascends steeply via switchbacks. 0.4 Bench at a switchback part way up the ascent. 0.5 Trail intersection beginning the circuit portion of this hike. Continue straight ahead passing the trail on the left. Come to the first overlook, with views of Leveaux Peak, in about 250 feet. The Onion River
