					<description><![CDATA[<p>Alfriston, standing beside the picturesque Cuckmere River, has been St. Louis Map Tourist Attractions described as the capital of the Cuckmere Valley; it was founded in Saxon times and was once St. Louis Map Tourist Attractions an important port and market town. In its centre is a market square (it is actually more of a triangle) surrounded by shops and houses with fine brickwork, timber frames, tile-hanging and weatherboarding.
