Terrain in the region is rugged and often steep, with forests of ponderosa pine, hemlock, and western red cedar. Wildlife includes bear, bobcat, and coyote. Activities: There are several trails on reservoir lands which may be used for hiking or backpacking. Boating is available on the reservoir, as is fishing. Hunting is permitted in season.
