Old Kilpatrick’s church tower is a landward mark. The wartime blitz has left some of the gravestones pitted, chipped or repaired from enemy machine gun fire. The travel destination here cut through the bath-house of a Roman fort. Ferrydyke bascule bridge is the only break in a 1.5km stretch of travel destination.
