					<description><![CDATA[<p>Visit to Utah RECOMMENDED LOCATIONS MANTI-LASAL NATIONAL FOREST This National Forest consists of a large unit of ; land in central Utah, along with two tracts in the southeastern part of the state. On these lands are the Abajo and Lasal Mountains, with peaks over 12,000 feet, and also the high Wasatch Plateau. There&#8217;s one designated wilderness area, the 45,000-acre Dark Canyon Wilderness. Scenery throughout the National Forest includes cirque ba-I sins, narrow canyons with red rock cliffs, mesas, ridges, hills, and some creeks. Vegetation ranges from cactus and sagebrush to pinyon-juniper and forests of spruce-fir, ponderosa pine, and aspen. </p>
