Traveling in Oregon RECOMMENDED LOCATIONS CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK This National Park is located in the Cascades of southwest Oregon. The centerpiece here is Crater Lake, at an elevation of 6,176 feet. It’s six miles across and over 1,500 feet deep. The lake lies in the cal-dera of a collapsed volcano.
