My name is Christina, and for the next couple of hours I’ll be showing you around behind the scenes. We were founded back in 1853 and it was quite a journey getting back here to Golden Gate Park, where we re-opened just one year ago. Along the way I’ll be showing you some exclusive areas of our facility, including a living roof, a gem vault, and a project lab where we process a lot of the specimens to get added to our collection.
