					<description><![CDATA[<p>Yuengling Brewery’s beers might not excite most drinkers, but the brewery has a worthy and relevant place in the Beer Bucket List for its history as America’s oldest brewery still in operation and for being one of its largest breweries today. Established in 1829 by German émigré brewer David Gottlieb Jüngling —who vaguely Americanized his surname to Yuengling—as The Eagle Brewery, it’s been in the same family ever since, with the fifth-generation David due to pass it on to the sixth-generation in coming years. Their Traditional Lager is the beer to try, a toasty, simple brew with some caramel-y malts </p>
