The Georgia Council for the Arts has consistently ranked the Tubman among the top ten visual arts institutions in Georgia. There are permanent galleries featuring folk art and the mural &#8220;From Africa to America&#8221;, a visual history of black people. In addition, the Museum devotes five galleries to the N’oel Collection of African Art, on long term loan from Lynn and Michael Noel of Houston Texas, including 2.000 year-old Xok figures, carved ivory.
