Running over rolling terrain and along a ridge, this trail follows an ancient route used by Indians. It crosses the southwest corner of Pennsylvania and then enters West Virginia, terminating at the Ohio River. For most of its length the trail is on private property. Camping Regulations: Four trail shelters are located along the trail, and these are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Camping is restricted to these sites.
