This National Forest in north-central Wyoming is located in the Bighorn Mountains, an area of high rocky peaks, steep canyons, and glaciers, along with some major rivers and hundreds of lakes and streams. There are also alpine meadows and forests of spruce, fir, pine, and aspen. Wildlife includes elk, moose, deer, black bear, bighorn sheep, and coyote.
