In about 450 feet, cross a stream just above a small waterfall. 4.6 Trail intersection completing the Pauline-Nigh Lakes Loop. Continue straight ahead, passing the trail to the right. 5.3 An overlook from a rock outcropping on the left side of the trail provides views to the north of the Echo Trail and Superior National Forest, and of Nigh Lake partially hidden in the foreground. 5.4 Trail intersection completing the circuit portion of this hike.
