Taking a Lima sightseeing tour is a great way to get to know the city when you first arrive. There’s all sorts of museums and nightlife and fun, and the people are amazing, and it’s gonna be a beautiful day, so let’s go. If you take the sightseeing in Lima in one day, you can learn many things about my country because you can mix the information between the pre-Colombian time and the Colonial time.
Lima in a Day City Sightseeing Tour Larco Museum and Magic Water Circuit Photo Gallery
This beautiful square behind me is the Plaza de Armas, and this is the center of everything, the heart of Peru right here. This is Parque del Amor, which is Lover’s Park and it’s based on Park Guell in Barcelona, and as you can see, there’s all sorts of mosaic benches, and statues of lovers. To get your head around the centuries of history and culture, we’re gonna check out the Larco Museum and there are over 45,000 artifacts in here. What blows me away about this, is that obviously, it wasn’t made with a machine. Today we’d need machines to make stuff this beautiful, but this was made at 1,400 years B.C., perfect condition.
Alright, the sun has gone down, but the lights and the water has come up. We’re now at Parque de la Reserva, and it’s time for a show. This was an absolutely unforgettable day. The sightseeing tour of all of Lima, then the Larco Museum and we finished it off with a grand finale of the water light show here at the Parque de la Reserva.
