Abe Veneto, Plantage Kerklaan 2 (639 23 64). This homey Italian eatery has food and prices to make any traveler happy. King Solomon Restaurant, Waterloopl. 239 (625 58 60). Run by a hospitable Orthodox family, this is the only kosher restaurant in sight of the old Jewish quarter.
