There are tales that a woman was murdered in this bathtub. As the story goes, a prostitute or girlfriend was discovered by her lover in a romantic relationship with another man. In a jealous rage, he entered the bathroom and shot her.
A dark, ghostly apparition has been seen wandering the hall. Though it isn’t certain if the shadow is that of a man or a woman, most seem to believe it is the spirit of the woman who was killed.
The manager took us to the room where this woman was supposed to have stayed. It was small and dreary with aged floral wallpaper and the mustiness of many years. A portion of the ceiling was gone, its remnants scattered on the floor around us. This was a room we would have to investigate later.
