FOOD

Traditional Roman cuisine is not generally ranked among the best in Italy, but the city has excellent restaurants specializing in both regional Italian and international cuisine. Lunch is typically the main meal, although some Romans now eat lunch on the go during the week. Restaurants tend to close between 3 and 7:30pm.
