The hotel Cleopatra Palace in Playa de las Americas consists out of 3 different buildings Cleopatra Palace, Julio Cesar Palace y Marco Antonio Palace and is part of the Mare Mostrum Resort in Tenerife. All of these are in a typical Roman style with big marble columns and statues.

Its a very unique style and also in a great location close to all the nice dining and shopping in this area. As an added bonus it is also right next to a nice white sandy beach, something you find rarely in Tenerife. Hotel Labranda Reveron Plaza, a name I had to do over 4 takes on now to say it right, is a very classy 4 star hotel in the heart of Los Cristianos, very close to main square and all the great bars and restaurants. Also the beach is only a short walk away from the hotel. This hotel has a very unique classical style that I very much liked. This, what I would call boutique hotel, has a nice pool and relax area on the roof. The staff I met was also very friendly and helpfull. I am not sure if the hotel Labranda Reveron Plaza is actually adults only or not (I did not see it anywhere on the hotel website) but I did not see any children here during my visit. The hotel Tigaiga in Tenerife is a great little hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. It has a nice peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
This because it is located in the Taoro Park, a beautiful park in Puerto de la Cruz with a magnificent array of flowers and plants. From the pool you have a great panoramic view over the area. Riu Palace Tenerife is one of the larger hotels in this list and is located in the more relaxed and quiet areas of the Costa Adeje in Tenerife. This 4 star hotel has also direct access to the beach and there are a few chill out bars and restaurants nearby. In the hotel there is a large garden as well as many different pools to choose from, some of these are right next to the seaside and offer some very nice views. The hotel Riu Palace Tenerife is a great place for the entire family. The hotel Valle Mar is located right on the front line of Puerto de la Cruz, right next to the lago Martianez as well as the beach of Martianez.
From pretty much all the rooms you have an amazing view over the sea but if you want an even better view, you can get this from the pool and bar on the roof. If you want to chill, there is a nice little Jaccuzi area in the back of the hotel as well. So one of the reasons I selected these hotels was the great value for money.
