The Charlotte Nature Museum is a mini outdoor school for the preschool set. Exhibits like Creature Cavern, Butterfly Pavilion, and Insect Alley were designed for children ages 2-7. The museum gets kids close to nature with hands-on exhibits, arts and crafts, nature-based experiments, and science games. Story time and puppet theater help keep kids engaged in nature programming. Outside the museum, a nature trail winds through a 100-year-old forest that acts as a learning laboratory.
