START: Sea end of Dane Road, Seaford. FINISH Campinas Map : South Downs Way start/finish point, Eastbourne. LENGTH: 9 miles. DURATION: Campinas Map Allow 6-7 hours; although the walking should take you no more than 4-5 hours, there are many features of interest en route. CONDITIONS: This is a tough walk, mostly along cliffs, with a good deal of climbing, but it is both exhilarating and rewarding. A clear fine day is a huge advantage.

As we returned to the first floor, I asked Laura Ann if she’d ever experienced anything unusual in the home or jail. She chuckled lightly and shook her head no. She had been with the society for some time, spent many nights alone at the museum, and has never seen, heard or felt anything unusual. “I don’t know how these stories start,” she smiled.
On the main floor again, Laura Ann showed us into the parlor. It was yet another amazing room filled with a collection of historic furniture, heirlooms and Victorian memorabilia, including an old Edison record player and antique piano. Bev and I would have to come back another time when we could leisurely explore the rooms and enjoy the many antique collections.
