ESSENTIALS DOCUMENTS AND FORMALITIES
VISAS. Citizens of Ireland, New Zealand, and the US may visit the Czech Republic without visas for up to 90 days, UK citizens 180 days. Australians, Canadians, and South Africans must obtain 30-day tourist visas. Visas are available at embassies or consulates, but not at the border. Travelers on a visa must register with the Czech Immigration Police within three days of arrival; hotels usually register their guests automatically.
