All of the profits generated by this upscale thrift shop go to the American Cancer Society’s research and service programs. The store sells mostly clothing, with some books and children’s toys. All of these are gently used, from fashions that could be worn to the office, to casualwear fit for a Sunday picnic; you may even find good labels mixed in, like a Laura Ashley dress for $18, or a Gap blazer for $20. Jeans, starting at $7, and men’s suits, starting at $20, are also great deals. For extra savings, check the sale racks. Because donations come in regularly, you do the same and see lots of new items. This shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 P.M. on Saturdays.
