The Children’s Museum in Dartmouth US Map & Phone & Address
276 Gulf Rd. South Dartmouth; (508) 993-3361
On two floors of a converted dairy barn, you’ll find a world of adventure and discovery tucked away. Interactive exhibits make it fun to leam about nature, science, and art. Favorite exhibits include the Medieval Room, with period clothes and puppets; the Live Animal Room, with turtles, bunnies, ferrets, fish, and parakeets; and the supermarket room with, you guessed it, kid-sized groceries. When kids get tired, they can curl up next to the fireplace in the Teddy Bear Room and read a story. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am. to 5 P.M. and Sundays from 1-5 P.M Admission is S3.75 for all ages; that’s quite affordable, but wait on the first Friday of every month, the museum is free to all from 5 to 8 pm. Cool!
