Here’s a great place to snap up inexpensive used books, and feel like you’re doing a good deed at the same time. That’s because all books in this shop are donations, and the proceeds benefit Bryn Mawr College’s New England Scholarship Fund.

Books on everything under the sun are crammed into this small shop; there are particularly good selections of novels, biographies, psychology and religious books. For linguists, there’s French, German, and Italian fiction. At the time of Mine’s visit, all mystery and true crime books were on sale: $1 for hardbacks, just a quarter for paperbacks. And take a look at the racks outside: For just 100 each, you’ll be able to fill your arms with books for a dollar or two. Open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 A M. to 5 P.M. and reduced hours during July and August
