Katti House, V. Faenza 21 (-zrfax 055 21 34 10; www.kattihouse.com). Exit train station onto V. Nazionale; walk 1 block and turn right onto V. Faenza. A jewel among Florence’s travel lodgings, it was lovingly renovated by the proprietors and now features 400-year-old antiques and an attentive staff. Large rooms with AC, TV, and bath. Via Faenza 56 houses 5 separate pensioni, some of the best deals in the city. From the train station, exit left onto V. Nazionale, walk 1 block, and turn left on V. Faenza.
