Futian is the affluent central district of Shenzhen and is the site of the City Government and the rapidly growing CBD. Shopping malls, lots of restaurants and municipal parks make Futian an ideal location if you like to explore on foot although taxis, buses and the metro are close to hand. In many parts of Futian, street life is less crowded, with a mix of office workers and affluent professionals. The malls such as Coco Park and Central Park could be anywhere in the world, except that the Chinese restaurants are better than in most malls.
