II. History of Konstantinovka
Konstantinovka was founded in 1775 by a group of Cossacks. The town was named after Konstantin Grigoryevich Razumovsky, the Hetman of Ukraine at the time. Konstantinovka grew rapidly in the 19th century, and by the end of the century it was one of the largest cities in Ukraine. The town was heavily damaged during World War II, but it was quickly rebuilt after the war.
