Housed in historic Water Pumping Station #1 (1860), a National Historic Landmark, LVAA fosters an appreciation of todays visual arts through temporary art exhibitions, special events, art classes, and educational programs. As a non-collecting institution, LVAA exhibitions feature new art forms and contemporary expression; solo, group, competitive or theme exhibits highlight a schedule that changes every six weeks. LVAA also maintains a slide registry of more than 400 artists.
