Best Winter Hikes in Schladming and Austria

From the top of the ski slopes to the glaciated peaks, Schladming has plenty to offer winter hikers. Whether you’re an experienced backpacker or just starting out, these five hikes are sure to please.

1. The Schladminger Hütte: Located at the top of the ski slopes and accessible from December to March, this hut provides shelter from the wind and snow. It can also be reached by cable car or by hiking up from Pitztal valley.
