For seasoned mountain riders the park has a vertical rise of 944m, and 35 per cent of the terrain caters for advanced and expert snow bunnies. But what Mammoth is most revered for is its eight epic terrain parks. Slide, flip and jib your way through the South Park, Jibs Galore and even the Olympicsized 22ft pipe to make the most of your snow pilgrimage.
Our tip? Don’t leave without taking a snowmobile for a spin. It s an awesome way to take in the views of the back country and pine forests that you might miss while you’re brushing up your skiing and snowboarding skills.
