EiO Barba Giannis, Em. Benaki 94, in Exarhia. From Syndagma, walk up Stadiou and make a right on Em, Benaki. Delicious traditional Greek food and outstanding service. Moussaka ‚5.30. Stuffed tomatoes and peppers ‚4. Ask about the day’s choices. In summer, open M-Sa noon-l:30am, Su noon-5:30pm.
Pluto, Plutarchou 38, in Kolonaki. Chic, warm ambience with an international menu. Try the grilled eggplant with feta and tomatoes (‚9) or strawberry meringue (‚9). Open M-Sa 12:30pm-3am.
