Casa Hassler is a museum, art gallery and cultural center, as well as the local office of Senatur (Tourism information). The house originally belonged to Dr. Hassler, a Swiss gentleman who settled here in the late 1800’s and dedicated himself to studying Paraguay’s flora eventually cataloguing over

Hotel del Lago Built in 1888 by some of San Bernardino’s first residents, this centrally located historic manor has since been renovated yet has managed to keep its stately charm. Antique furnishings and nicely maintained gardens overlooking Lake Ypacaraf add to the feeling of being in a period piece movie. The museum’s cultural center has rotating art and photography exhibits. During the summer, it also showcases various concerts and events. Pueblo Hotel Just before the entrance into town, you’ll find a large hotel that feels a lot like a beach house thanks to its spacious rooms, nice pool and a pleasant sundeck area.
