Famous as a serious ski resort, stylish St Anton is one of the greatest and most notable ski resort of everywhere in the world. I love this resort and have
come back to it 3 times in the last 2 years its part of my stable ski diet.
The main reason why I love the place is the fact that even after 3 years when you ski St Anton you encounter some serious challenging pistes for every day
of your stay. I went with Go-Ski who do Skiing trips in St Anton
from December to April. They first got me interested in the area after a chat with Will Broome who runs Go-Ski who showed me some fantastic snow-scenes
shot amid the high-mountains with conventional Austrian chalets adorning the pretty village roads below. Will also as a very good and devoted skier told me
about some of the best red and black runs he knows about and I was sold.
Skiing down the valley from Galzig, you will likely love a number of the mind-boggling and most remarkable runs ever. The Arlberg region has returning
guests year in, year out, and with much world-class off-piste skiing, to get into I love to hit the off piste with a mono-ski for a few days to mix it up
and enjoy the wide open spaces to carve down.
There is an Arlberg ski pass accessible
which additionally allows you to ski the other exclusive resorts of Zurs, Stuben and St Christoph and especially rather Lech which has received many famous
guests including those of several Royal families over the past few years.
Like most Austrian hamlets, extremely pretty, with a modern pedestrian centre at it’s heart. You’ll locate Skiing in this region provides simple access
getting to the ski slopes and there’s a direct access to ski the Rendl area from the centre of the village. There is a modern gondola from Nasserein, which
also supplies good access from this part of town. You can begin your apres-ski early if you wish, as there are a number of bars at the top. Try the Krazy Kangaruh or the Pub Mooserwirt, both are recommended.
Well adored for its lively apres-ski, I often can be found relaxing and enjoying myself as soon as I have left the slopes. There is some great bars and
very lively nightlife here it is really ski hard and play hard’ in Austria.
St Anton-am-Arlberg is a high quality winter skiing and summer holiday resort which invites all types of skier, non- summer tourists and skiers who flock
to the area to take pleasure in the typical Austrian hospitality year after year.
