The staff are always on hand to replenish your cup, refresh your pot of tea, and bring more of whatever takes your fancy. The penultimate pastry course is a treat, with dainty cakes varied according to the season, and the whole event is finished off with an individual shot glass filled with the Goring’s tantalising trifle.
