The Betty Rymer Gallery showcases the strength and diversity of the Schools programs, highlighting faculty and student work and mounting special exhibitions of the work of professional artists. Also of possible interest is the SAICs Gallery 2 (563-5262) located at 847 W. Jackson Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60607 (open: Tues-Sat, llam-6pm). Gallery 2 provides students with the opportunity to exhibit their work within a professional venue in close proximity to a number of other galleries. Students are selected to exhibit their work through an open proposal process. In addition, large theme-related juried shows are scheduled at least twice annually.

Through its changing and permanent collection exhibitions, Spertus Museum celebrates the creativity and diversity of Jewish culture. Selections from the permanent collection acquaint visitors with the beauty and customs of Jewish religion and culture from around the world.
State Street Bridge Gallery
Facilities: Architecture (historic bridge house); Gallery.
Activities: Temporary Exhibitions.
A cooperative effort between the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Chicago Department of Transportation, the Gallery is located within one of Chicagos historic bridge houses. The Gallery offers the opportunity to view changing exhibitions, as well as the machinery of one of the citys moveable bridges.
