The Scenic Oak And Sycamore Parkland Was The Film Site For The Movie E.T. This Hike Begins At Rinaldi Street (A Frontage Road Of The Ronald Reagan Freeway) And Heads North Up The Riparian Canyon On The Aliso Canyon Trail. En Route Are Several Creek Crossings. The Trail Connects Midway With The Palisades Trail (Hike 159) And The Sesnon Trail At The North End.

From Highway 118/Ronald Reagan Freeway In Northridge, Take The Reseda Boulevard Exit. Drive One Block North On Reseda Boulevard To Rinaldi Street And Turn Right. Continue A Half Mile To The Signed Aliso Canyon Park On The Left At Hesperia Avenue. Turn Left And Drive 0.1 Mile To The Trailhead Parking Lot.
