This BU favorite mixes Middle Eastern food with a variety of salads, sandwiches, soups, and individual pizzas for an eclectic and inexpensive menu. Much of the food is homemade, with ample portions.

Soups change daily, with such choices as clam chowder and cream curried chicken. Get soup and a halfsandwich for $4.25; these include brie, corned beef, and smoked turkey. Same deal for soup and quiche. Sal- ads start at $2.45; artichoke and spinach ($3.95) is a winner, with mushrooms, scallions, hard-boiled egg, and croutons tossed in.

A real treat are the Boboli pizzas eight-inch pies covered with chunks of chicken and broccoli, beef and mushroom, or many other combinations, most around $4.50. They are filling and delicious.

The Mediterranean portion of the menu offers hummus, baba ganoush, tabouli and more, each served on pita bread for $3.75; for hearty appetites, you won’t go wrong with the combination platter, which adds a Greek salad to the above, all for just $5.75.

Not to mention bagels from Ku-pel’s, desserts from Rosie’s Bakery, and Mrs. Miller’s Muffins. Or follow a Greek specialty with a piece of homemade baklava. Lots of gourmet coffees, teas, juices, cappuccino, and espresso to go along with these, too. Open til midnight daily.
