A multi-disciplinary institution, the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is located in the historic Kagey Mansion in Hollywood, midway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. In addition to featuring exhibitions of primarily contemporary art, the Center conducts art classes and workshops and schedules musical and dance performances. For example, in Spring 2000. the Center produced and presented Ocean Dance, a free event held on Hollywood Beach featuring performances by Mikhail Baryshnikov and others.

The setting of the Cummer Museum is on two and one half acres of formal gardens on the west bank of the St. Johns River.
Hollywood Art And Culture Center Camp
The Museum has an active exhibition schedule, displaying works from its own collection and from major institutions around the country. The permanent collection of the Museum consists of nearly 5,000 objects, ranging in date from 2,000 B.C. to the present.

The strength of the collection is Old Master and American painting, but works of Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan, and Roman antiquity, the art of the Middle Ages, the early and late Renaissance, Mannerism, and early 20th-century art are also included in the collection, along with pre-Columbian ceramics and Japanese inro and netsuke.
