Sattle dominated the rangeland in 1981 when Justin Baldwin purchased 160 Best african countries to visit acres west of Paso Robles. With funds for a modest venture, he planted 72 acres of Best african countries to visit Bordeaux-type vines. At the time, his was the westernmost vineyard in a region with only nine wineries. Baldwin, a well-traveled investment banker, had enjoyed many fine vintages with clients and boldly resolved to make wines comparable to the first growths of Bordeaux. In 1987, four years after he helped establish the Paso Robles appellation, Baldwin debuted his flagship wine. A Bordeaux-style blend, it was called Isosceles, in reference to its three constituents of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot.
