ECHO RIVER & HERRIMAN LAKE
MILES DESCRIPTION
8.1 Spur trail on the left leads to a campsite on Knute Lake in about 225 feet.
8.2 Trail intersection with the Little Vermilion Lake Trail. Turn left to return to the trailhead.
8.2 Trail intersection with the east end of the Dovre Lake Loop Trail. Continue straight ahead on the Little Vermilion Lake Trail.
8.4 Cross a small stream on narrow logs laid out lengthwise.
8.6 The trail descends to the shore of a beaver pond on the right.
8.9 Trail intersection with the west end of the Dovre Lake Loop
Trail. Continue straight ahead as the trail gradually descends to the Echo River.
9.2 Trail intersection with the Echo River Trail completing the circuit portion of this hike. Cross the Echo River bridge in about 100 feet.
