Kasane 2019: Best of Kasane Botswana Tourism

Botswana is the land of desert, deltas, and, of course, safaris. Its expansive landscapes and abundant wildlife make for a holiday like no other.

WHAT TO EXPECT

There’s very little that compares to the sheer magnificence of Botswana and the Chobe National Park in Kasane, is no exception. The landscape goes on further than the eye can see, lion roars echo through the hot, night air, and its elephant population happens to be the largest in Africa. No trip to ‘Bots’ is complete without a visit to the Okavanga Delta – the biggest inland delta in the world.

WHAT TO DO

If you’re looking for elephants, Chobe National Park in Botswana’s north, is where you need to be. Chobe is the third largest game park in the country, and it’s teeming with wildlife. Take a boat cruise to get up close and personal with the likes of hippos and crocs, or go on a game drive to view giraffe, leopard, kudu, and more. The Okavango Delta is a one- hour flight away, and you may as well be part of a pack of hyenas to get this close to the wildlife, thanks to its vast network of lagoons, swamps, and islands. Lastly, take a short trip to Victoria Falls for an unforgettable viewing experience.

WHERE TO SLEEP

Spendafew nights in a Safari Room at the four-star Chobe Safari Lodge.

Each Safari Room is individually decorated, is en-suite, and has a private patio with river views. The lodge shares a border with the Chobe National Park, which means you’re in for some game-viewing.
