Location: 5 km northwest of the village at Pigeon Lake. From the village, travel west on Hwy 13 and turn right (north) on Hwy 771.

Designated in 1967, Pigeon Lake Provincial Park is an extremely popular place to enjoy outdoor recreation close to Edmonton. The park provides opportunities for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, fishing, hiking, powerboating, windsurfing, and horseshoes. You will find boat ramps, change rooms, fish-cleaning stations, and toilets, as well as a playground and horseshoe pitch. Wildlife-viewing and birdwatching opportunities abound. Golf courses, shopping, and a farmers’ market are within a 15-minute drive of the park. Winter activities include ice fishing and about nine kilometres of cross-country skiing on groomed trails.

Zeiner Park is just six kilometres past the provincial park. Day use visitors can access a sandy beach, playground, and picnic tables. Showers, within the camping area, are about a ten-minute walk.
