Roller coasters, merry-go-rounds, bumper cars – to mention but a few of the many attractions – provide the background to the proverbial Oktoberfest merriment. The spirited music of brass bands in the beer tents is just as much a part of the Oktoberfest atmosphere as the smell of burnt almonds, Turkish halvah and gingerbread hearts.

The Oktoberfest – connoisseurs say – is something you cannot describe, you have to experience it for yourself.
