Activities: No trails are found here, but backpacking is possible on the open tundra in the western foothills. Cross-country skiing is also feasible, best in March and early April.
Kayaking or canoeing are available on the Mulchatna and Chilikadrotna Rivers. Climbing and mountaineering are other options here. Fishing is possible as well. Hunting is permitted in the preserve but not in the park.
Camping Regulations: Camping is freely allowed in this National Park and Preserve, as are campfires, except where otherwise prohibited. No permits are required.
