Being a fan of the wilderness, yet working in a stuffy office, the closest I can get to my passion is when I am able to take time off and go tent camping. Cape Le Grand National Park is one such place in Australia. This is where the world renowned Lucky Bay is located. It is also known as Australia’s whitest beach, as the sand is as white as snow. Next up, Cape Range National Park. This parks claim to fame is the Ningaloo Reef, otherwise known as the largest fringing reef on the planet. If you really want to get into the thick of Australia then visit Purnululu National Park. This park is home to the one of the most natural and amazing mountain ranges on Earth, called the Bungle Bungle Range. Interestingly, it took over 350 million years for this range to take shape so don’t miss out.
Let’s step outside the national parks for a moment and visit a more traditional wooded area for our camping needs. Lane Poole Reserve is a nature lovers dream come true.
