Three permanent collection galleries display the art of the Western world from Byzantine to modern times (1st floor), Ancient and Asian art (2nd floor), and the art of Africa, the Pacific, and pre-Columbian Americas (3rd floor). Temporary exhibitions (rotating, traveling, and School of Fine Arts student and faculty exhibitions) are mounted in the Special Exhibitions, Hexagon, Focalpoint, and Childrens Corner galleries. Changing sculpture exhibitions are scheduled periodically in the Museums outdoor Sculpture Terrace. Arrangements may be made by appointment in advance to view portions of the collections that are in storage.
