Zink serves up comfort food with a twist. Inspired by diverse ingredients from all four corners of the United States, the menu features simple, savory dishes such as grilled Atlantic swordfish, Colorado lamb chops, Maine sea scallops, New York strip steak, or Hawaiian tuna. The bar menu is also all-American, featuring a selection of local beer and wines. The contemporary settingred walls, oversized mirrors, and metal accentscoupled with the Uptown location make Zink a popular spot to have dinner and drinks before hitting the clubs for a night on the town. Zink also serves brunch and has gained a reputation for having some of the best Sunday-morning fare in town. The atmosphere is more subdued in the light of day but still glitzy enough to abandon the sweats and sneakers in favor of something a little dressier.
1765 In the weeks leading up to the Stamp Act’ Boise City Metro Map s enactment, Charles Town is the site of serious public disturbances, largely sparked by the Sons Boise City Metro Map of Liberty. The protests are at once violent and creative. Some colonists, for example, parade a coffin labeled Country Liberty through the streets and bury it in a solemn ceremony. 17661767 In successive years, crime waves sweep through the backcountry, now a fairly densely populated region. The leading men of the backcountry band together in what will become known as the Regulator movement. They seek law and order in the form of courts, jails, schools, and more proportionate representation in the Commons House, all four of which are lacking in the backcountry. In 1768, they pass the Plan of Regulation, which basically governs all of South Carolina outside of a 50-mile stretch along the coast. Eventually, after gaining some reforms, the group loses influence. 1776 and Beyond The Revolutionary War is fought in South Carolina as a sort of civil war between those loyal to the king and those who support the Country cause. When loyalists leave the state for Canada, the Caribbean, and elsewhere, they take about 5,000 slaves with them. An additional 25,000 slaves leave upon the departure of the British forces.
