Who belonged to this wheelchair that seemed to mesmerize us?
One of our last stops in the basement was the employee lounge. It was a small room with a large table in the center. Storage shelves lined one wall. Opposite the shelves was a small kitchen area. Jim mentioned employees often feel touched, hear voices, see apparitions and get the feeling someone is watching them in this area.
We spoke to a young lady who was sitting in the room. She told us she is not scared in the room but did admit to hearing voices and feeling watched. It was just something she had become used to. No doubt the basement was intriguing and much time would be spent down here investigating.
The Leebove party was sitting in this area of the barroom on May 14, 1938.
