It features five exhibitions each year of the works of local and regional artists, including “Inspirations”, an all-Florida, multi-media juried art show in March. It also hosts national and international traveling exhibitions. The Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden The museum at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is set in a 200-acre park of pine forests and Japanese-style gardens. The 32,000-square-foot museum itself is devoted exclusively to the living culture of Japan. It features varying exhibitions of Japanese fine and folk art, crafts, and artifacts. A highlight of the museum is the teahouse, where regularly-scheduled demonstrations of the Japanese tea ceremony are conducted.
